Tips and Tricks#
In this section, we provide helpful tips and tricks that can enhance your experience with Mailytica and support efficient workflows.
Import / Export#
Importing and exporting certain functionalities within Mailytica’s Online Platform make it easy to share and collaborate between accounts. The elements that can be imported and exported include:
Projects
Topics
Classification Models
Email Parsing Rules
Dictionary Annotations
API data (Enrichment Rules)
Smart Responses
Actions (Tags / Labels, and Folder Destinations)
To import or export any of these functionalities, follow these simple steps:
For exporting#
Navigate to the specific functionality you’d like to export (e.g., Projects, Topics, etc.).
Click on the Export button. Depending on the functionality, the Export button can be found in different places, but usually it will be found in the title box next to the Edit button. For information on specific export instructions, please visit the desired functionality page.
A .zip file containing the necessary data will be downloaded to your local computer.
Important
Please note that the exporting function in Mailytica is designed for completeness.
If you export a project, for example, you’re not just exporting the project itself. All associated items — such as related topics, messages, and previous classifications — are also included in the export.
This ensures that when you import the data into another account, everything is entirely replicated from the original account.
For importing#
Navigate to the specific functionality you’d like to import (e.g., Projects, Topics, etc.).
Click on the
button located near the top of the page.Locate and select the .zip file you previously exported.
The selected functionality, along with its associated data, will be imported into the current account.
